NANOPERM type toroidal cores

nanoperm (R) - kosmiczna technologia

Nanocrystals, i.e. in this case nanoperms are created in the process of rapid cooling of metal and at the same time forming into a very thin band. The material obtained in this process features a fine crystalline microstructure. A typical grain is in the range of 10nm size and therefore the material is called nanocrystalline. The fine grain material structure is the feature which makes it possible to attain unusual soft magnet properties. It is an amorphous material, which during rapid cooling did not have the time to crystallize and obtained a new form, a state of aggregation called vitreous metal.
